Currently licensed to practice law in Virginia, Florida, New York, and Tennessee. Ms. Geller is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of the United States, and the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York.

Business

• Represents privately owned and public companies large and small in providing general counsel services, contract negotiations, contract drafting, employment matters, franchise law issues, and general corporate matters.
• Negotiation, structuring, and documentation of the purchase or sale of a business or corporate entity.
• Former general counsel for a 600 million dollar, publicly traded company in the staffing and funding industry.
• Former in-house counsel providing management of the legal needs and risk management for businesses in the propane gas, medical, and insurance service industries.

Employment

• Preparation of employment agreements, non-compete and confidentiality agreements, independent contractor agreements, separation agreements, affirmative action plans, employee policy handbooks and social media policies.
• Represents and counsels Management on matters relating to use of independent contractors, confidentiality agreements, employment agreements, policies and procedures, reductions in force, separation agreements and covenants not to compete.
• Counsels employers regarding employment matters including harassment and discrimination.
• Handles inquiries from the DOL, OFCCP, and the Department of Homeland Security.
• Has appeared before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the National Labor Relations Board, Human Rights Commissions, and various local arbitration associations.
