Gentry Locke's Green Team is spearheaded by attorney Charlie Williams and includes fellow attorneys Jay O'Keeffe, Travis Graham, Brooke Rosen, and the following staff members: Frank Pittard, Executive Director; Tracey Brizendine, Supplies/Facilities Coordinator; Lisa Wimmer, Runner/File Clerk Team Lead; and Betty Eggers, Records Clerk.
Through their efforts and cooperation firm-wide, Gentry Locke has successfully implemented the recycling of cardboard and non-confidential paper, batteries, aluminum cans, and the re-use of office supplies. Additionally, the Firm has changed its consumption, purchasing, and printing processes to lessen the carbon footprint of procurement and the environmental impact of its more than 130 employees working on three floors of the SunTrust building in downtown Roanoke.
Attorney Williams serves as the Legal Community representative on the Roanoke Business Environmental Leadership Coalition, which seeks to pave the way for Roanoke businesses to adapt more environmentally-friendly consumption behaviors.
