Gentry Locke Employees Plan CHIP Service Day

Date: 06/11/2009

As a continuation of the very successful United Way campaign at Gentry Locke Rakes & Moore in 2008, Gentry Locke's Community Participation Committee has scheduled an afternoon service project to benefit the Child Health Investment Partnership of the Roanoke Valley (CHIP Roanoke Valley). This year's service project is being coordinated by Gentry Locke attorney Macel Janoschka.

In 2007, CHIP Roanoke Valley was very impressed with the enthusiasm and hard work of Gentry Locke staff and attorneys during the initial service project that took place. That project was in conjunction with the 2007 United Way "Days of Caring."

Partner Eunice Austin has been affiliated served on the Board of CHIP Roanoke Valley since 2006, and currently also serves on the Board for the United Way. The Gentry Locke Community Participation Committee is comprised of Partner J. Rudy Austin, Human Resources Manager Gail Gilbert, Partner Greg Habeeb, Librarian Charlie Nelson, and Legal Assistants Suzanne Keck and Jenny Sizemore.

Tasks Gentry Locke will tackle include light spring cleaning and indoor painting. For more information on CHIP Roanoke Valley and how it serves families in our region, click here or on the link below.
