Leeson Updates HR Group on Employment Law Changes on Horizon

In January, Gentry Locke employment partner Todd Leeson delivered three separate presentations to over 200 HR professionals and business executives for human resource organizations in Roanoke and Lynchburg.
Leeson’s presentations were entitled “Post-Election Employment Law Briefing: Are You Ready for Change?” Leeson focused on the following topics (among others): New amendments to ADA; “Employee Free Choice Act” (Card Check Bill); new FMLA regulations; and federal legislative initiatives including proposed equal pay amendments, new definition of supervisor, and sexual orientation as a potential new protected class.

Todd Leeson is the Chair of Gentry Locke’s Employment law practice group. He has over 35 years of experience representing Virginia employers in employment and labor law matters. He regularly litigates employment claims in Virginia. Todd also represents management in labor union matters.
