  • Litigation Associate – Criminal and Government Investigations

    The Richmond office of Gentry Locke is recruiting for a litigation associate to join the Criminal and Government Investigations team. Candidates must have an interest in multiple subject matters and possess a diverse set of litigation skills. This position will assist in all aspects of trial and case development, investigations, and have significant client contact. Successful candidates must have the ability to balance a high volume of matters and collaborate effectively. A minimum of 2 years of litigation experience is preferred. A strong academic record and Virginia State Bar membership required or the ability to become licensed as soon as possible.

  • Litigation Associate – Civil Defense

    Gentry Locke is recruiting for a litigation associate to join its Richmond office. Candidates should be licensed in Virginia, have a strong academic record, and a diverse set of litigation skills. A minimum of 2 years of civil litigation experience is preferred, but not required. This position will assist in all aspects of trial and case development, including drafting of pleadings and briefs, producing and reviewing pretrial discovery, engaging in witness preparation, performing legal research, analysis of case law, and participating in trials. In order to be successful in our fast-paced environment, attention to detail, a high-level of personal motivation, and strong problem-solving skills are required.

    Gentry Locke, a dynamic and client-focused law firm in Virginia, is seeking an attorney to join our Real Estate and Solar Development Group in Richmond. The ideal candidate will have working knowledge in commercial real estate development, land use, zoning, solar development and/or local government.   • Workers’ Compensation Paralegal

    The law firm of Gentry Locke has an immediate opening for a full-time workers’ compensation paralegal. In order to be successful in our fast-paced environment, candidates must have a strong work ethic and possess excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. This position will primarily support workers’ compensation matters in a very busy practice group. The ability to work with multiple attorneys is a necessity for this position. Paralegal experience in worker’s compensation is preferred, however, candidates with litigation experience are also encouraged to apply. College/paralegal degree preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office is required.

  • Transactional attorney

    Gentry Locke is seeking two qualified attorneys to join the firm’s Commercial Practice Group. These positions will work primarily out of our Roanoke office. Candidates must have 1-6 years’ of experience in mergers, acquisitions, commercial and business transactions, business entity formation and operation, commercial real estate transactions, or tax. In order to be successful in our fast-paced environment, attention to detail, a high-level of personal motivation and strong problem-solving skills are essential. Virginia State Bar membership required.

  • Legal Assistant – General Commercial

    Gentry Locke has an immediate opening for a highly motivated and skilled legal assistant to join our General Commercial Practice Group. Candidates must have prior experience as a legal assistant with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment supporting multiple attorneys. Prior experience in a commercial, corporate, or real estate practice is strongly preferred. A successful candidate will be a team player with excellent communication, prioritization, attendance and organizational skills. Subject to experience, there may be opportunities to accept additional responsibility on paralegal tasks. Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel is required.

  • Accounting Processor

    Gentry Locke Attorneys has an immediate opening for an Accounting Processor to join our team! In order to be successful in our fast-paced environment, candidates must be detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills. This position will perform a variety of functions relating to accounts payable. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, entering and posting payables; approving and coding reimbursement checks; preparing and processing month-end reports for multiple accounts; and reconciling vendor invoices, vendor account statements and petty cash. Experience with 1099’s required. Successful candidates will have proven experience in accounts payable, excellent communication skills and a high-level of accuracy. Microsoft Office proficiency required.
