EEOC changes: The EEOC issued its final rule regarding pay data to be reported on the new EEO-1 Report. Employers with 100 or more employees must report summary pay data, as well as hours worked, on the new EEO-1 Report. The first report must be filed by March 31, 2018, although it will report pay data for the 2017 calendar year.
Department of Labor: The Department of Labor recently announced its final rule requiring federal contractors to provide certain employees paid sick leave beginning January 1, 2017.
