Gentry Locke Business Development Support Manager Kathleen M. Lordan Named a Virginia Lawyers Weekly 2025 Unsung Legal Hero

Lordan has been a cornerstone of Gentry Locke for over seven years, leading the firm’s Business Development Department and overseeing a team of creative and professional individuals who implement the firm’s business development initiatives across the Commonwealth. Bringing more than 12 years of prior marketing experience in the insurance industry, she has leveraged her experience to help elevate the firm’s strategic plan and strengthen its market presence.

In her role, Lordan works closely with the firm’s Business Development Committee and Executive Director, coordinates firm-wide marketing initiatives and client engagement efforts, and ensures attorneys have the resources and support they need to succeed. She also leads the firm’s Seminar Committee, which has grown significantly into one of Gentry Locke’s largest annual events. The seminar series now draws hundreds of attendees and has expanded beyond Roanoke to include programs in Richmond and Norfolk.
In addition to her business development leadership, Lordan actively serves on the firm’s Diversity Committee and is an engaged member of the Legal Marketing Association’s Mid-Atlantic Region, reflecting her commitment to both the firm and the legal marketing profession.
