Gentry Locke Welcomes Emily S. Mordecai to Its Richmond Office

RICHMOND, Va. (February 27, 2023) – The Virginia law firm Gentry Locke is pleased to announce that Emily S. Mordecai has joined the firm’s Richmond office as a member of its Commercial Litigation team. Mordecai previously worked as a litigation associate in the Richmond office of an AmLaw100 firm. Her subject-matter experience ranges from complex commercial disputes to products liability and personal injury cases to nationwide employment class actions. As a part of the Commercial Litigation team, Emily will work with Gentry Locke’s clients across the Commonwealth through all phases of business litigation and alternative dispute resolution.

Emily’s litigation experience spans from pre-litigation counseling through trial and appeal. Prior to joining Gentry Locke, she successfully argued a prisoners’ rights case before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit and achieved a favorable outcome for her client. Mordecai received her undergraduate and law degrees from the University of Virginia.
