Leeson Educates Virginia College Administrators, HR and Title IX Personnel on Campus Sexual Assault Laws and Developments

In May and June of 2015, Gentry Locke partner Todd Leeson presented at conferences in Virginia on the topic of campus sexual assaults.

On May 1, 2015, Todd spoke at the 2015 Annual Conference for the Virginia Chapter of the College and University Professional Association for HR (CUPA-HR). Todd’s presentation was entitled “Legal Update with Focus on Campus Sexual Assault Developments.” On June 3, 2015, Todd presented a talk entitled “Campus Sexual Assault: Legal Obligations and Practical Considerations” as part of an accounting firm’s 2015 annual client seminar for private colleges, universities and not-for-profit organizations. The audience for this seminar included chief financial officers and business administrators for a number of prominent private colleges in Virginia.

Todd Leeson has represented private colleges in Virginia on employment law and student conduct issues (including Title IX sexual misconduct matters) for almost 20 years. Todd is an associate member of the National Association of College and University Attorneys (NACUA).
