Gentry Locke Welcomes Brittany L. Mountjoy to its Richmond Office
RICHMOND, Va. (September 21, 2022) – The Virginia law firm Gentry Locke is pleased to welcome Brittany L. Mountjoy as an associate in the firm’s Criminal & Government Investigations practice group in Richmond.

Mountjoy regularly represents clients in both civil and criminal matters. She previously worked as a Deputy State Public Defender at the Colorado State Public Defender’s Office where she advocated for indigent clients in criminal matters, tried numerous jury trials, and worked on several appeals. Prior to and during law school, Mountjoy worked in Washington, D.C. and has considerable experience in international and U.S. legislative and regulatory affairs.
A graduate of the American University Washington College of Law, Mountjoy received her B.A., B.S., and M.S. from Virginia Tech. She has been admitted to the Colorado, Maryland, and Virginia Bar.
