On January 22, 2013, Gentry Locke attorney Todd Leeson presented before the Roanoke Valley Society of Human Resource Managers. The title of his topic was “Forward” it is!  Employment Law Developments that Virginia HR Professionals Need to Know.

Attorney Robert Dean presented to fellow attorneys attending a meeting of the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association in Williamsburg, Virginia. His presentation discussed “Law Office Management: How to Run a Paperless Office”.

On July 9th, Partner Dave Cohan gave a teleseminar to coaching professionals attending the JV Coaching Summit. The presentation offered “Protecting Your Intellectual Property: Copyright and Trademark Basics.”

On March 15, 2012 Gentry Locke Partner Diane Geller was a panelist at a Staffing Industry Analysts’ event help in Las Vegas, Nevada.

On February 10, 2012, Gentry Locke Partner Diane Geller presented a webinar about “Social Media in the Workplace; How Social Networks Put Your Company at Risk.”

Gentry Locke employment attorney Paul Klockenbrink will participate as an employment law panelist for the ALFA Hospitality Practice Group Conference, October 12-14, 2011 in Scottsdale, Arizona at the Westin Kierland Resort & Spa. The presentation will address employment issues such as Americans With Disabilities Act public accommodation compliance; discrimination claims filed by patrons who allege they were targeted for different treatment by staff due to their race; the challenges of employing a youthful workforce; and class action wage hour issues.
