On May 15, 2019 Gentry Locke Partner Chip Dicks presented a legislative update on the 2019 General Assembly to members of the Northern Virginia Apartment Association. The meeting was held in Arlington, Virginia.
On May 10, 2019 Gentry Locke Partner Nick Leitch was a panelist at the Virginia Association of Defense Attorneys (VADA) Spring Meeting in Staunton, Virginia. The topic was Ethical Advocacy in Mediation. Nick was joined by one other attorney and two retired judges.
On May 7, 2019, Gentry Locke Partner Spencer Wiegard co-presented a full day of training for members of the Associated General Contractors of Virginia (AGCVA) at the association’s Glen Allen, Virginia headquarters. Spencer was joined by David W. Spriggs, PE, who is Principal and Structural Engineering Division Manager for Draper Aden Associates. The full day of training will continue when they return to present on May 21, 2019.
On April 16, 2019 Gentry Locke attorney Alicha Grubb and Construction Practice chair Brett Marston spoke to the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) Roanoke Valley Chapter. Attendees learned about key contract issues related to construction projects.
