Gentry Locke Welcomes Lindsey Rhoten to its Richmond Office
RICHMOND, Va. (August 29, 2022) – The Virginia law firm Gentry Locke is pleased to welcome Lindsey Rhoten as an associate in the firm’s Real Estate, Land Use, and Zoning Group and the Environmental Group in Richmond.

Rhoten assists clients with their land use and real estate needs, providing counsel on encroachments, boundary disputes, covenant violations, and zoning issues. She has experience analyzing local zoning ordinances and site plans for boundary locations. Rhoten regularly coordinates with state and local government officials regarding local zoning and land use information as well as transportation projects and project permitting. She has additional experience preparing policy resolutions on renewable energy and the sustainability of natural resources.
A graduate of the University of Richmond School of Law, Rhoten received her B.A. from Christopher Newport University. During law school, she served as a legal extern in the environmental section of the Virginia Office of the Attorney General where she contributed on cases involving federal and state law air, water, and toxic tort issues. Rhoten also worked as a law clerk at the Department of Justice Environment & Natural Resources Division gaining experience in complex class action environmental litigation. She is a member of the Board of Governors of the Environmental Law Section of the Virginia State Bar.
