  • Daily cups of coffee
  • Age I began playing piano
  • Had you chosen a career other than law, what do you think you might be doing today?

I considered being a veterinarian. Once I decided on a career in law, I initially wanted to be a legal analyst for ESPN.

  • What do you enjoy doing outside of work?

I like to stay active – from running, hiking and working out at the gym to white water rafting. I enjoy watching and playing sports and am an avid Virginia Tech and Carolina Panthers fan. I also have a passion for travel. My favorite trip so far has been through France, Spain and Italy. I hope to travel to Africa and New Zealand in the near future.

  • Are you a dog or cat person?

I have two cats, but would adopt every type of animal if I could. Perhaps that explains the vet aspiration!

  • What is the most important step in your morning routine that you never skip?

Shower and coffee – lots of coffee.
